Our story
It all begins with an idea. In 2016 Søren Damgaard decided to create the best tasting apple cider in Denmark. Three years later Copenhagen Winery was awarded with two gold medals and the prestigious title: “Best Fruit Wine 2019”
Today Copenhagen Winery is an innovative winery, producing alcoholic beverages with a taste of what Danish nature has to offer.
The range of products includes sparkling apple wines, ciders, gin, apple brandy, sweet wines and wines made from fresh flowers, all inspired by the surrounding nature of Copenhagen.
The products are sold to some of the best restaurants, cocktail bars and cafes in Copenhagen.
Introducing
Flower wines
The beauty of natural wine is that you can evolve and perfect it as much as your own creativity allows you. We came up with most of our flower wines by adding fresh flowers to our natural ciders.
The result was an incredibly light and pleasant sparkling beverage perfect for the summer.
A new take on
the classics
It started with our delicious sloe gin “Mr. Blackthorn” which turned out better than we could have ever imagined. That experiment got us hooked on creating handcrafted high quality liquor.
Since then, we’ve done an Amaro, (perfect for Aperol sprit), a Vermouth full of nordic herbs, a must-try Apple Brandy and a Gløgg especially made for ice cold Christmas cocktails.
